Subconscious messages of Law enforcement

It is a constant, its reliable, you can guarantee it. Yes, in Sacramento, California, another police shooting of an unarmed black man. This time they went on his grandmother’s property and gunned him down. They fired twenty rounds six hitting him in the back, one in the side, one in the leg. In Austin, Texas a mad bomber was terrorizing the Black community. He left in his wake two deaths, and two injuries. These were both hate crimes. The bomber eventually blew himself up when he was accosted by the police. The shooting of an unarmed black man was also a hate crime although the media and the DOJ will put a spin on it to classify it as something else.

He was only twenty-two years old, a father with a future denied by men in blue. A life cut short was instantly criminalize by the media to justify the killing of this unarmed man. He may not have known of the police presence as he stood in his grandmother’s back yard with cell phone in hand. You heard on the video the police command to “show your hands,” immediately followed by a barrage of gun shots. He had no time to comply for the shoots came instantaneously at a rapid pace after the last word of the police officer’s command. He joins a long list of unarmed black men whose life was cut short by members of Americas’ police departments. In this nation many suffer from a racist disease gone pandemic, it shows itself as; The Killing of Unarmed Black Citizens by Law enforcers.

We march in protest, angered by this and many similar incidents. For sure this was a deliberated act of murder. The police departments knows the Department of Justice will see to it that they are not held accountable for their use of deadly force. They will be acquitted to roam the streets, to do it all over again.  Most Black people have seen this recurring scenario and concluded this is an undeclared war on them.  Its clear to them that the attacking force is the police departments who are behind the killings of several unarmed black people and the DOJ who gives them a free pass to commit murder of black folks. The black community march in protest feeling very anxious that if left uncontrolled this will become a hot war. They are debating among themselves weighting the consequences of that occurrence. Should they continue marching and protesting or as logic dictates for them to take up arms and defend themselves from the law enforcement killers. As we martyrize Micah Xavier Johnson for sacrificing his life as he took a courageous stand against the police killers of black men, we hope other young men will not follow in his footsteps. However, it’s not inconceivable to think they will due to the constant, senseless, racially tainted murders of young black men by police officers.

As they weight the consequences of guerrilla warfare here in the USA they also seek other options to resolve these issues. The DOJ actions bears resemblance to their actions during the Jim Crow era when they were complicit with the actions of the white supremacist.  Post-Civil war to the 1960’s the KKK and other white supremacist factions waged a war of terror against the black population. They lynched thousands, they douse them in gasoline and roasted them at the stake. They shot many to death, emptying the magazines of their guns on many unfortunate black persons and after the killing they mutilated their dead bodies. They did a lot of sadistic things to black people for more than a century, all during that time Congress and Federal Government stood by and watched. The Government did nothing to protect its black citizens as they suffered through those barbaric incidents predominantly in the southern states in American. Recently the Federal government apologized for their inaction. However, the barbarism continues as law enforcement officers set upon us, using deadly force against unarmed black citizens and again the government is doing nothing about it.

Will they sit back and allow History to repeat itself, we black people definitely won’t allow it.

Recently in Austin, Texas a mad bomber terrorized the black communities. He sent one of his bombs to an address where a 17-year-old honour student dwelled. The student was killed by the blast of this weapon. His life cut short, was further disrespected by the police chief of Austin who disregard the life of the victim and chose to focus and harangue on the life of the bigoted terrorist. He attempted to persuade others the bomber was a misguided soul who was to be empathized, regardless of his heinous deeds. He was even apprehensive to declare the bomber a domestic-terrorist, why? Because the young bomber was Caucasian and he the police chief wanted to positively guide the public perception of this heartless killer. He mentioned nothing of the young black man who as a honour student that was accepted to four universities including Howard which he planned to attend. He could not criminalize this black youth so he chose to ignore him. This is a constant with law enforcement when the victims are black and the perpetrators are white. We saw that with Dylan Roof who shot and killed nine people in a church while they were worshipping. The officers upon apprehending Roof, place him in a bullet proof vest to protect him, then they treated him to McDonalds. This form of bonding amazes me, it’s as if they are paying homage to the perp, thanking him for doing something they have thought of doing but is unable to, but they are doing it, killing one black person at a time. The numbers add up as we look into police use of deadly force against black citizens across this nation.

In 2015, 315 black persons were killed by law enforcement.

In 2016, 285 black persons were killed by law enforcement.
